The logo was designed by A Waugh after the school invited entries from students, staff and the school community. The Board of Trustees
chose the winning design.
The triangle stands for our maunga / mountain (Rangitoto) and also for the symbol for Maniapoto (Te kawau maro - a fighting formation), the main iwi / tribe of this area
The stairway on the side represents the attainment of knowledge, or the stairway to enlightenment.
The wavy lines below the school motto represent our awa - river (Mangaokewa)
The koru inside the triangle represent School, Whanau (community) and Child (student) and also were designed to look like the capitals for
Centennial Park School.
Our motto, "Kia tika te noho" means "Live truly".
